I tried this diffuser with two different essential oils. The only time I smelled the the oils, was when I poured drops of them into the water into the tank on the correctly marked waterline. After turning the diffuser 'on', I SAW condensation, but smelled no essential oil. I use high quality true essential oils, not synthetic ones. Therefore, the poor performance cannot be due to the oils. I guess there is a reason why some companies charge more money for diffusers. This one is getting returned, not exchanged.

This is a cute and compact little unit, and I can smell the oil for about the first 30 minutes, but after that it's only noticeable if I stand right over it. I use this in a kitchen that is fairly closed off, so it's an average size room. I have not owned another diffuser, but if one is going to use expensive essential oils in this manner, one would expect the scent to fill the area better and last longer than 30 minutes.

This is not only adorable it is quality. I am a true cluts! I dropped this on my kitch floor and thought it would shatter due to the texture of the glass, but it didn't even chip. The tea pot, the teapot lid, the tea tray and the kettle it self were all unharmed and not even a chip! Quality! I love it.
